Who We Are
Covenant Congregations
In theology, a covenant is an agreement that brings about a relationship of commitment between God and his people. And, in law, it is a contract drawn up by deed. So the word appropriately describes the spiritual and secular relationship that NDSM has with the covenant congregations in whose names we work.
At present there are 52 covenant congregations who have formed an interfaith community to provide charitable assistance to persons in need through NDSM. While we focus on the needs of those who live in the areas served by these houses of worship, we also, whenever possible, extend a helping hand to those from any part of Dallas whom we can assist.
