During “tax season”, from mid-January through mid-April, our volunteers prepare and electronically file tax returns for low and moderate income households.
From January 26 through April 15, the hours are:
Tuesday through Friday 2:00 pm to 7:30 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 am to 2:00 p.m.
In February and April: also Mondays 2:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Saturdays until 4 p.m.
Clients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis.
To apply for assistance, please bring the following documents:
- Photo I.D.
- Social Security Card or Tax I.D. number (ITIN)
- Previous year’s tax return
- W-2 or 1099 MISC income forms
- All other tax-related forms and paperwork necessary to verify income and potential deductions
We are again partnering with Communities Foundation to offer this important service and to help families steer clear of high-cost refund advances.
