Because of the goodness and generosity of heart of so many, North Texas Giving Day was truly momentous for NDSM. We raised $148,223! Without our friends and supporters, this would not have been possible. Thank all of you who gave.
This support means that, in addition to the approximately 150 families that the entirety of NDSM helps each day, we have been able to provide food, clothing, prescription medication, school supplies, relocation bus tickets and motel assistance for gracious and grateful families impacted by Hurricane Harvey.
We expect this increased demand for services will persist during a lengthy recovery process.
We are already assisting those displaced by Harvey. They arrive in Dallas needing clothing, food, medical and dental care as well as access to support programs – all things we provide to meet the needs of our community.
We expect many more will require our help in the days ahead
Your donation to NDSM helps these new arrivals and continues to alleviate the suffering of our longer-term neighbors.
We are participating in North Texas Giving Day on September 14th. Generous donors will match, dollar for dollar, every contribution we receive, up to $ 65,000!
This is an exciting opportunity for you to double the impact of your support!
Learn more about NDSM and to donate (after September 8th), at the North Texas Day website.
Of course, you may also donate directly to NDSM at any time. Thank you in advance for your support!
It may seem school just got out for the summer, but we’re already gearing up for this fall.
