Current Services

COVID-19 Vaccinations

Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Vaccinations are available for ages 12 and up. No appointment is necessary.

Food

Monday-Thursday 8:30–12:00 noon
Food distribution in the parking lot — masks required.

Friday, 8:00–12:00 noon
Food distribution for seniors 60+ years — masks required.

To apply for SNAP (food stamps)
The North Texas Food Bank is providing SNAP and Medicaid application help.  If you need SNAP (food stamp) benefits for your family or yourself and/or Medicaid for your children and have a computer, laptop or smart phone, NTFB can help you with face- to-face assistance and a same day file date.

Medical Care

The Medical Clinic is open for walk-ins and by appointment Monday–Friday from 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. (closed for lunch from 12-1) for medical care, vaccinations, and flu shots. To schedule an appointment, please call 214-358-8705.

Dental Care

The Dental Clinic is open from 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday (closed for lunch from 12-1).  Visits are  by appointment only. Services include new patient exams extractions, and fillings — dentures for those 60 and older. Please call 214-358-8729 to schedule an appointment.

School Uniforms and Supplies

Registration closed.

Tax Preparation Assistance 

During the extended summer tax season, our FC staff & volunteers prepare and electronically file tax returns for low- and moderate-income households.  For the summer, we operate by appointment only. Hours are Monday & Wednesday from 2pm to 7pm and every 1st Saturday of the month from 10am to 2pm. To apply for assistance, clients need to bring a photo ID, social security card or tax ID number, prior year tax return, W-2 or 1099MISC income forms and all other tax-related forms and paperwork necessary to verify income and potential deductions.

Clothes Closet

The Clothes Closet will be open from 12:30 -3:30 on Mondays and Thursdays only.
Proof of COVID vaccination is required.
Masks required.
Children are not allowed in the Clothes Closet.
